What is BulkSMS?

BulkSMS is a short message service, sent to our phones in form of text message.

Why do I need BulkSMS?

BulkSMS is the cheapest and simplest way to send messages to a large number of people at the same time, with a customised Sender ID.

How do I Send SMS?

First you need to open an account/signup.
You can use the initial test units to send SMS by clicking "SEND SMS".
Afterwards you may recharge your account by paying for SMS units.

Does your BulkSMS expire?

No.

How do I Open an Account to Start Sending SMS?

Click on the Register tab on the home page.
Fill the form and submit.
Log in to your account and you are ready to start networking the world via SMS.

Ok, I have opened an account, what next?

Now you can start sending SMS! Simply login to your account using the username you registered with and your password.
Click on "Send SMS".
Enter the mobile number(s) you wish to send SMS to.. eg 23480xxx for Nigeria or 44740xxx for the UK.
Type your SMS message. You can change the default Sender Name to any name of your choice (11 characters maximum).

Which phone number format do I use to send BulkSMS?

You can use "23480, +23480, 080" format to send BulkSMS.

What does 1 SMS Unit mean?

A unit refers to the cost of sending a single SMS message having a maximum of 160 characters to one mobile number.

How can I recharge my account/buy SMS credit?

You can purchase SMS units by paying into any of our bank accounts.
Login to your account and click the BUY SMS tab.
Select Bank Deposit as the payment method.
Pay for the SMS, send a payment notification and we shall credit your account in not more than 24hours.

What is the minimum number of SMS units that can be purchased?

You may purchase a minimum of 500 units.

Can I transfer units to another member?

Yes.

What does Message Log mean?

Your Message Log shows you a summarized view of the latest events on your account.

What does Profile mean?

You can use the profile settings to change your personal details.

What is PhoneBook?

The phone book is a place where you can store your phone numbers which will forever be available to only you.
You can access your phonebook by cliking the "Phonebook" tab.
You can also click "Insert Numbers" or "Import Contacts" to add numbers to your phone book.
